Job Description

Final Assembly TechnicianShift:
Day Shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
Starting Pay:
$17.00-$20.00/hourAction Group Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Final Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the final assembly of truck bodies after the coating process, ensuring each unit is built to specification, passes quality inspection, and is ready for shipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on mechanical work, can read assembly drawings and bills of materials, and takes pride in producing a quality finished product.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble truck body components after the coating process.

Install motors, augers, folding sides, tailgates, and other mechanical components.

Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOMs).Use hand tools and hardware to complete assemblies according to specifications.

Verify all components are installed correctly and functioning properly.

Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.

Identify and correct assembly issues before final inspection.

Work with team members to meet production schedules while maintaining quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

RequirementsPrevious manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience preferred.

Ability to read assembly drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials.

Experience using common hand tools and measuring tools.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Compensation & BenefitsStarting pay of $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience.

Eligible temp-to-hire employees receive a $1.00/hour attendance incentive after 30 days of employment.
