Your daily tasks will include utilizing manual tools, interpreting technical schematics, recognizing various parts, and addressing any challenges that arise during the build or testing phases. Core Duties Construct product components across various lines by utilizing the correct fixtures and tools. Help ensure product reliability by testing finished units and resolving any technical malfunctions. Utilize technical drawings to identify necessary parts and adhere to established assembly procedures. Operate manual tools and apply rework methods to build mechanical assemblies effectively. Support precision standards by performing basic dimensioning and setting mechanical tolerances. Maintain operational transparency by completing labor logs and precise transaction records. Contribute to a more efficient workplace by following manufacturing principles and engaging in improvement projects. Working Hours Standard shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Flexibility is required for overtime, which may include Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturdays from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The position is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Position Details This is a 6-month contract assignment with the potential for an extension. Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is mandatory for this position. Candidates should possess 0 to 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience. Demonstrate the ability to interpret blueprints and handle mechanical parts. Show proficiency and comfort when operating hand tools and executing assembly or testing duties. Safety Equipment All necessary personal protective equipment will be supplied to you. You are responsible for providing your own steel-toed footwear.
