• Position Summary The Window Assembler is responsible for building windows and pressure relief screens used in MRI rooms.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving cutting, assembling, staining, screening, glass installation, and trim assembly. This is a physical, standing position with regular lifting and material handling. The position also requires regular use of an aerosolized stain in a paint booth and strict compliance with OSHA and company respiratory protection requirements.

IMPORTANT

Because this position requires the use of a respirator, male employees must be clean shaven to ensure a proper respirator seal and must remain clean shaven for the duration of employment in this position. Window Assembler

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities Cut wood to specified dimensions for window frames Assemble and staple window frames Stain wood frames Stretch and secure screen material Stain screen material Clean and prepare glass for installation Place and secure glass onto frames Assemble and install trim Use hand tools and shop equipment as required Work in a paint booth using aerosolized stain Wear required respiratory protection and other PPE Follow respirator fit-testing and respiratory protection requirements Lift, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow OSHA requirements and all company safety procedures Perform other shop and assembly duties as assigned Window Assembler•Physical Requirements Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds Stand for the majority of the workday Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and positioning of materials Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks Sitting is limited to one specific production process Ability to safely work with wood, glass, screens, stains, hand tools, and shop equipment Ability to wear required respiratory protection and PPE throughout the workday Window Assembler•Respiratory Protection Requirements Clean shaven appearance is required for Males Must remain clean shaven while working in this position Must participate in required respirator fit testing Must be able to maintain a proper respirator fit Must wear the assigned respirator when required Must follow all OSHA respiratory protection requirements Must follow company Respiratory Protection Program rules and procedures Window Assembler•Workplace Expectations Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Follow all safety rules and production procedures
