Requirements:
- Basic computer skills.
- Skills to comprehend and operate from Operational Method Sheets and communicate with
Supervisor and Co-workers. - Begin as a Temporary Co-worker prior to becoming a Regular Co-worker.
- Basic hand and power tools, and various tools and fixtures specific to assembly of company products.
Preferred:
- Versatile and able to perform at or above normal work expectations.
- Constructive attitude.
- Desire to increase efficiency.
Job Duties:
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Perform product assembly tasks consistently at or above established performance standards.
- Follow Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and quality requirements to ensure products meet specifications; check own work and, when requested, assist in verifying the work of others.
- Assemble small and intricate parts using hands and tools; perform packaging tasks including folding boxes and preparing components for shipment.
- Rotate through various assembly operations as assigned to meet production needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a flexible team or independently to complete the posted daily schedule.
- Maintain punctual and reliable attendance in alignment with the Production Attendance Policy.
- Demonstrate and uphold companies core values in all work activities.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts for processes, team performance, and personal development.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks, presses, tape machines, and other production equipment as trained and authorized.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and guidelines; use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Versatile and able to perform at or above normal work expectations
- Everything possible to move the business forward.
- Other duties as required.
Physical Aspects of the
Job:
- Work on your feet most of the day; sit; walk; lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (occasionally more with assistance); bend/stoop; twist; crouch/squat; kneel; climb steps and ladders; work at heights; reach at/above/below shoulder; use arms, wrist, hands; grasp; squeeze; operate foot controls.
May be exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise.
Hours:
40 per week (Monday - Friday).
Pay:
$19.76 per hour Assemblers and Fabricators, All Other
