Manufacturing Job Summary & Purpose:

We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled Composite Fabricator. As part of the AI Systems team, you will perform general composite tool building, fitment, retrofit, and R&D work on high performance experimental aircraft. We offer competitive wages and a family atmosphere.

Essential Functions:

A Composite Fabrication Technician's primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Modify or retrofit composite airframe components
• Custom shape basic composite plugs
• Build basic composite tools
• Perform general body work
• Manufacture and assembly of airframe composite parts and structure
• Fabrication of parts using wet lay composite materials
• Bonding composite structures including hand finishing parts to proper fitment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma (Required)
• Body and paint experience (Required)
• 1+ Years' Experience (Preferred)
• Composite Experimental Aircraft experience (Preferred)
• Self-motivated
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and instructions

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces
• Work hours more than 40 hours per week may be required at times.
