Assembly Technician Shift:
7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday Will be traveling 2 weeks out of the month after 9 months of training
Pay:
$55,000+ depending on experience Job Description The Shift Assembly Technician performs mechanical and electrical assembly and sub-assembly work on industrial machinery, both in the facility and at customer sites. This role involves assembling, repairing, and preparing equipment according to engineering drawings and standards, using a variety of tools and material handling equipment. It is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures and instructions. Responsibilities Assemble equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and established standards. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks on industrial machinery and sub-assemblies. Repair, build, and prepare industrial equipment at the facility and at customer locations. Work from warranty and repair orders and production schedules to plan and prioritize tasks. Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively to complete assembly and repair work. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED. 13 years of related mechanical and/or electrical assembly work experience desired. Moderate knowledge of general manufacturing processes. Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications Specialized associates degree in a related technical field is a plus. Experience with both electrical and mechanical assemblies is beneficial. Interest in long-term career growth in industrial equipment assembly and service. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetsdale, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
