Production Assembler 1st & 3rd shift! Job Description The Production Assembler supports all operational activities within the modification department, focusing on the receiving, staging, unpackaging, modifying, repackaging, and shipping of assembled cabinetry. This role works closely with a team to modify cabinets according to order specifications, operate and maintain woodworking and power tools, and ensure accurate completion of all associated paperwork. Responsibilities Participate in all operational activities of the modification department, including receiving, staging, unpackaging, modifying, repackaging, and shipping assembled cabinetry. Modify assembled cabinets according to the descriptions and specifications listed on each order. Work within a team framework to produce and modify cabinets, both collaboratively with team members and independently as needed. Operate and maintain woodworking equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other tools used to unassemble, modify, and reassemble cabinetry. Accurately complete all paperwork associated with cabinet modification and related operational activities. Receive, unload, and stage incoming assembled cabinetry in preparation for modification. Inspect products during and after modification to ensure quality standards are met. Use measuring tools, such as tape measures, to verify dimensions and confirm compliance with order requirements. Follow established production processes and safety procedures while working in a warehouse and yard environment. Support general labor tasks related to cabinet handling, movement, and organization within the facility. Essential Skills Ability to read, speak, and write English to understand work orders, instructions, and documentation. Approximately 1 year of production experience or similar experience in carpentry or woodworking. Proficiency in basic assembly tasks, including assembling and reassembling cabinetry components. Experience using hand tools safely and effectively in a production or woodworking setting. Ability to operate power tools commonly used in woodworking and cabinet modification. Basic woodworking skills, including measuring, cutting, and fitting components. Capability to perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. Competence in using a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy. Attention to detail in following order descriptions and completing paperwork correctly. Ability to work as a self-motivated team member and also perform tasks independently. Prior experience in cabinet assembly or modification is beneficial. Familiarity with production and inspection processes in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Comfort working with a variety of woodworking equipment and tools. Strong organizational skills for staging and handling multiple orders and products. Reliability in following scheduled shifts and adapting to business unit needs. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions in an open outside storage yard when required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
