Openings:
1 Now hiring for Assemblers at our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant. In this role you will be responsible for SCBA Line 100 assembly and the following tasks: Assembly of component parts and related sub-assemblies according to drawings and customer specifications. Will work with various test machines, high pressure air, and various hand and power tools, torque wrenches and vises. Performs tests using testing apparatuses, troubleshoots, visually inspects, and repairs sub-assemblies and component parts as needed. Completes and maintains relevant paperwork and inputs information in computer system. Packages material for shipment. Responsible for maintaining production goals through linearity / productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and the company's objective is required.
Qualifications Ability to:
read and understand drawings with complex configurations, work instructions and test procedures. take shared responsibility for Quality. understand standard units of measure. set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices. perform standard software operations including SAP. sit, stand, reach, bend, sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance. use power and hand tools. effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries. work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. actively participate in problem solving & continuous improvement efforts. consistently perform work within the established cycle times.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year previous manufacturing or related experience. #LI-MI1 #
