Job Description The primary duty of this role is the mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools. The technician will be responsible for the final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools. Perform final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles. Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies. Assemble modules according to provided schematics. Essential Skills Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test. Experience in reading electrical schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools. Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with circuit board assembly is a plus. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desired. Why Work Here? The headquarters offers a diverse range of facilities, including office, classroom, production, repair, and laboratory spaces, along with a 5,000-gallon test tank. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday 9/80 work schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
