Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and electro-mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in soldering, electrical wiring, and reading schematics will ensure the production of high-quality products that meet strict industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electronics assembly and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes. Duties Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed blueprints and schematics Assemble electrical panels and electro-mechanical components using hand tools and power tools Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble wiring and components Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical connections and troubleshoot assembly issues Follow IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies to ensure quality and compliance Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including machining and fitting parts according to specifications Assist in troubleshooting engineering issues related to soldering, wiring, or component placement during production Skills Strong understanding of PCB design, manufacturing, and surface mount technology (SMT) processes Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings with accuracy Experience with soldering techniques, including hand soldering and surface mount soldering Familiarity with electrical wiring, electrical blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic component assembly Capable of troubleshooting electro-mechanical components using testing devices such as ohmmeters Skilled in mechanical assembly, electrical panel building, and engineering troubleshooting Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and adherence to safety protocols Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to producing reliable electronic solutions!
