On-site The Impact You'll Make Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 1st shift Assembler to manage the entire assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. What You'll Be Doing Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures. Transport valves to designated workstations. Ensure minimum production targets are met. Promptly inform the supervisor of any shortages in assembly supplies. Accurately interpret and follow instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders. Operate assembly and torque tools effectively. Inspect defective valves and perform repairs to meet specifications. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED equivalent required. You should possess basic math skills and be able to read and write clearly. Must be capable of standing for long periods and repeatedly lifting to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes is necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED techniques is preferred. Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
