Pay & ScheduleStarting pay: $20.00 per hourFull-time positionMonday through Friday7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Overtime may be required based on production needs Requirements for the Mechanical AssemblerPrevious mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and work instructionsExperience using measuring tools such as calipers, depth gauges, and other inspection equipmentBasic math skills, including fractions and decimalsStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced production environmentMust be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basisMechanical Assembler ResponsibilitiesAssemble gear motors, reducers, adjustable drives, and related mechanical componentsPull parts and maintain inventory stock between assembly linesPerform repair, restock, and warranty evaluationsConduct testing and service activities to verify product qualityComplete wash, preparation, and paint-related processesPack, ship, and receive products and materialsUse calipers, depth gauges, paint mil gauges, and other measuring equipmentInspect completed work and perform rework as neededRead and follow blueprints, quality procedures, and work instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaRotate between workstations and assembly functions as neededSafely move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes when trained and authorizedFollow all safety, quality, and company proceduresPerform other duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and move continuously throughout the workdayFrequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pullingRepetitive lifting up to 30 poundsOccasional lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to meet production goals and quality expectationsWork EnvironmentOn-site manufacturing and assembly environmentExposure to oils, greases, solvents, cleaners, and paint-process chemicalsRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as neededRegular, predictable attendance required Apply online or contact your local Penmac office for more information.
