Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive pay 15 days of PTO your first year , plus 1 additional day each year until you reach 25 days annually 12 paid holidays Medical insurance and additional benefits Fantastic Monday-Thursday schedule Stable international company with over 45 years of success Supportive team environment where quality matters What You'll Do Assemble custom industrial machinery according to technical drawings and specifications Read and interpret mechanical drawings (pneumatic and electrical drawings are a plus) Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment Inspect components and ensure high-quality workmanship Solve mechanical assembly challenges and adapt to changing project requirements Work closely with a small team to build high-quality custom equipment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Hands-on and mechanically inclined Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work Self-motivated with a positive, "can-do" attitude Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical equipment Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Excited by variety—not repetitive assembly line work Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of mechanical assembly or related mechanical experience Experience assembling mechanical components Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings Ability to perform precision measurements Knowledge of lifting devices and mobile equipment is preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills About Macawber Engineering Macawber Engineering Inc. is an international manufacturer with more than 45 years of experience designing and building innovative industrial equipment.
