• Job Description
• This role focuses on fabricating and assembling a wide range of industrial components using blueprints and shop drawings.

You will perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel and carbon steel to build and modify large industrial vessels, walkways, safety ladders, and water treatment equipment. The position requires strong fabrication skills, precise measurement and fitting of materials, and a commitment to quality workmanship in an industrial repair and job shop environment.

• Responsibilities
• + Fabricate and assemble components based on blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.

+ Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials. + Build and modify large industrial vessels, walkways, safety ladders, and water treatment equipment. + Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials accurately for fabrication and assembly. + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute fabrication tasks. + Fit and assemble structural and industrial components to meet dimensional and functional requirements. + Inspect completed work to verify quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to standards. + Use common fabrication and welding tools safely and effectively during daily operations. + Follow all safety procedures, shop rules, and company standards while performing work. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. + Assist with repairs and modifications for manufacturing facilities and crane shops as needed. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently in a job shop environment.

• Essential Skills
• + Previous experience as a Fabricator, Welder, or Welder/Fabricator in an industrial or job shop setting.

+ Proficiency with MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. + Proficiency with TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. + Proficiency with Stick welding on stainless steel and carbon steel. + Strong fabrication experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications accurately. + Experience fitting and assembling structural and industrial components. + Ability to use common fabrication and welding tools safely and effectively. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. + Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to company standards in an industrial environment.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Background in performing repairs for manufacturing facilities and crane shops. + Experience working in an industrial repair shop or job shop environment. + Comfort working on large industrial vessels, walkways, safety ladders, and water treatment equipment. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple fabrication tasks in a low-stress, calm environment.

You will work with stainless steel and carbon steel, using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes along with common fabrication tools. • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.

00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
