Truss Builder Job Description Join a dedicated team in a truss plant that is committed to delivering exceptional quality work. We seek motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. While previous experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who demonstrate eagerness to learn. Responsibilities Feed boards into automated saws and catch them on the back end. Sort boards based on truss and project numbers. Manually lift boards onto truss tables. Read blueprints to determine the placement of plates, with training provided. Use a hammer to attach joint plates onto truss boards. Operate a nailer to secure boards together. Band completed trusses in the yard for shipping. Essential Skills General labor and construction experience. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Basic math skills. Carpentry skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing processes. Preferred ability to read and interpret a tape measure, with training available. Capability to work on hands and knees and climb onto four-foot-tall truss tables. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401k, ESOP, Paid holidays.
