Position Summary:

Responsible for assembling components.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for applying glue, screws, nails and staples to components when necessary.

Flexibility to move from one role to the next depending on line and business needs

Identify quality and cleanliness issues

Able to communicate effectively

Reports defective parts to Management

Meet deadlines for production

Identify safety issues and report to Group Lead

Clean the work area throughout the shift.

Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of hand tools, including saw, pneumatic nail and staple guns, cordless power drills and screwdrivers
  • Must be able to read atape measure to 1/32nd inch
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to perform consistently to meet/exceed production quotas
  • Ability to perform other duties requested or required by management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

Move about the factory floor to access machinery, materials, and product storage.

Transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Operate, activate, and use production machinery and hand tools that require repetitivemotions of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Detects and inspect parts for quality control at close vision (less than 20 inches) and assess safety hazards from a distance (20 feet or more).
