Industrial Assembler Job Description We are seeking dedicated Industrial Assemblers to join our team. This position accepts entry level as well. As an assembler, you will be responsible for fabricating and joining pipes, fittings, and valves according to detailed blueprints. This role requires precision similar to assembling LEGO pieces but with the complexity of industrial specifications. Your duties will include cutting and grooving pipes, forming and pressing gaskets, and logging data into the computer for progress updates. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to assemble pipe connectors and basic pieces according to job specifications. Cut and groove pipes accurately. Log assembly progress into the computer system. Form and press gaskets as needed for assembly. Ensure all components are assembled correctly and meet quality standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Experience in pipe joining, connectors, and related products. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in concrete construction or finishing is preferred. Knowledge of machine operation, repair, and fabrication. Forklift operation skills are a plus. Experience with sheet metal, grinding, and bandsaw operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a dynamic metal and fabrication shop where conditions are clean but not climate-controlled. The shop is equipped with large fans for ventilation. Engage in assembly and fabrication as well as warehouse distribution tasks. The environment requires steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirts, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. The shop operates on a single shift from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime every other Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jordan, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
