09/02/2026 Job Description Job Description We are looking forward to bringing on a qualified First Article Assembler to our client's team in Auburn, WA. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the initial assembly of the product(s) meets all design and quality standards. This is a long-term contract-to-hire position
Compensation:
$19
•$26/hr,
DOE Schedule:
Monday
•Friday, 7 am
•3:30 pm, OT as needed, Weekends as needed
Location:
Auburn, WA Responsibilities:
Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and material lists Independently analyze drawings and verify provided materials prior to assembly Create detailed, step-by-step work instructions that will be used for production Gather required components, tools, and equipment Assemble First Article units from A-Z following drawing and process requirements Correctly install contacts, terminals, connectors, and related components using appropriate tooling Perform insertion and extraction processes as required Conduct compatibility checks and verify proper assembly techniques Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or process issues Document the full assembly process, including taking and inserting photos into work instructions using provided software Manipulate photos as needed (cropping, basic edits) to support clear documentation Finalize and submit complete First Article documentation for production use
Requirements:
2+ years of First Article Assembly experience required Working knowledge of contacts, terminals, connectors, and materials used in this industry Experience using industry-standard tooling for contact and terminal installation Ability to independently assemble products from drawings with minimal supervision Familiarity with insertion and extraction processes Basic computer skills; ability to navigate programs and databases Ability to take, edit, and manage photos for technical documentation Comfortable working independently while asking questions when needed Willingness to work overtime as required Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularly Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
