Key Responsibilities:
The Assembler II independently performs assembly operations involving moderately complex products while maintaining quality standards and supporting production efficiency. This role assists with troubleshooting assembly issues and supports less experienced assemblers. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision, following technical drawings and schematics. Key Deliverables of the Position 1) Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents. 2) Verify assemblies meet quality and engineering requirements. 3) Troubleshoot routine assembly issues. 4) Assist with training and mentoring new assemblers. 5) Maintain a clean and organized work area, following appropriate safety protocols including PPE use. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
Requirements:
Technical Competencies 1) Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment preferred. 2) Strong knowledge of mechanical concepts, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. 3) Proficiency with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. 4) Ability to interpret technical drawings, shop math, and manufacturing documents accurately. 5) Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, and specialized industrial tools. 6) Mechanical knowledge including machining, assembly techniques, and use of precision measuring instruments. 7) Experience with PPE use and adherence to safety standards in an industrial setting. 8) Excellent Communication Skills - both verbal and written.
