A Production Fabricator or Assembler constructs and assembles a wide range of products, such as engines, computers, aircraft, ships, boats, toys, electronic devices, and control panels, as well as the individual parts that make up these products.
Commercial Millwork / Custom Cabinetry / Fabrication About the Position We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Cabinet & Custom Fixture Fabricator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys building unique projects, and can work from drawings, measurements, and specifications to create finished commercial products. We are also committed to improving how we work through Lean principles . If you don't have experience with Lean manufacturing, that's okay—we are willing to teach the right person. What matters most is that you are willing to learn, improve processes, work as part of a team, and take pride in doing the job right. What You'll Do Learn and apply Lean principles , including reducing waste, improving workflow, organization, and standardizing processes. Build custom commercial cabinets, millwork, fixtures, and specialty items. Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, measurements, and specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, fabricate, and install components accurately. Work with a variety of materials, including wood, sheet goods, laminates, solid surfaces, and other fabrication materials. Operate common woodworking and fabrication equipment safely and accurately. Perform quality checks throughout the build process. Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly challenges. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Communicate with team members about project requirements, problems, and improvements. What We're Looking For Experience in commercial cabinetry, custom cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or fabrication . Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Ability to accurately measure and work to specifications. Ability to read drawings or willingness to learn. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of your work. Commitment to safety and quality. Willingness to learn Lean principles and continuously improve. Experience That Is a Plus Experience with any of the following is helpful: Commercial millwork Custom cabinetry CNC equipment Edge banding Laminate work Solid surface fabrication Woodworking machinery Cabinet installation Finish carpentry Production or manufacturing environments Reading architectural/shop drawings Lean manufacturing or 3S Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and finished components. Ability to safely operate woodworking and fabrication equipment. Ability to work in a shop/manufacturing environment.
