We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, can work independently, and takes pride in getting things done. This position will primarily involve assembling our products, packaging orders, and handling shipping and receiving .You do not need a degree or years of manufacturing experience. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic tools, reliable, and willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Assemble sheet-metal products and other components using drills, rivet guns, hand tools, and basic power tools Package finished products and prepare them for shipment Fulfill orders through Shopify and eBay. Print shipping labels and prepare outgoing shipments Help maintain an organized and efficient shop Assist with other day-to-day shop tasks as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and able to stay productive without constant direction . You should be comfortable looking at what needs to be done, prioritizing your workload, and getting to work without someone standing over your shoulder. Mechanical ability is a big plus. You don't need previous manufacturing experience, but you need to be comfortable working with your hands and using tools such as drills, rivet guns, and other basic hand and power tools. You need to be comfortable on a computer to navigate shopify, print labels, etc. If setting up a new printer, or creating shipments on fedex isn't something you are comfortable with, this is likely not the role for you. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on shop position.

You should be comfortable with:

Standing and being on your feet for most of the workday Lifting and moving boxes, parts, and materials weighing up to 50lbs at times Bending, reaching, and moving around the shop throughout the day Using drills, rivet guns, and other hand and power tools Performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks while maintaining accuracy Pay & Schedule Starting pay: $20/hour Higher starting pay available based on experience Full-time position Flexible scheduling and hours Why Work at Otter Automation?
