FUNCTION

This position will fabricate parts as needed for customers and jobs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prefer 5 years or more fabricating experience
• Use of press brake, shear, iron worker, saw, lathe and other shop machines
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Able to read a blue print
• Able to weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel

PRIMARY DUTIES

Unload and check in equipment delivered to shop Organize and keep track of equipment in yard and stock room Organize and order steel for trucks and shop Fabricate parts Physical Requirements Coordinate eye-hand movements Use hands and fingers fully Reach for, manipulate and handle objects See and hear well (either naturally or with correction) Lift and carry objects weighing up to one hundred pounds Stoop, lay, bend, squat, kneel, crouch and/or crawl for unforeseeable periods of time

WORKING CONDITIONS

General shop setting Travel to jobsites as needed

EVALUATION

Timely and accurate production of parts fabricated in shop Clear communication with field crews to get them what they need

POSITION LOCATION

Vita Builder's Office, Fall River, Wisconsin

SCHEDULE

Averages 40 to 50 hours a week, primarily Monday thru Friday 6a-5p. Overtime required in order to timely complete projects.
