Operates production machinery and performs bench assembly to produce quality products safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate rivet presses, shim presses, assembly fixtures, and other production equipment. Assemble components using hand and bench tools, including riveting, staking, and torqueing. Read blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and production instructions. Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Load and unload materials and operate forklifts, hoists, and related equipment. Monitor equipment, make adjustments, and troubleshoot basic operating problems. Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance. Maintain production records, inventory, and organized work areas. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Manufacturing, machine operation, or assembly experience preferred. Ability to use precision measuring tools and basic math. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Good mechanical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
