Job Description

Position Summary:
Enercon Industries is a mid-sized family company that manufactures technical equipment for a variety of industries domestically and across the world. Our Induction Cap Sealers and Surface Treating equipment are among the best in the world and we pride ourselves in being the market leader and innovation driver in our field. The Coils Assembler assembles coils for the Cap Seal product line, including light fabrication of components as necessary per specifications. Performs all work in a manner consistent with Enercon's standards of safety & quality, keeps tools in good working order, and keeps assigned areas clean and orderly. This is a 1st-shift position working Monday through Friday. Shift start time is generally flexible and overtime is available on Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assembles coils, base plates, tunnels, and various sub-assemblies for Cap Seal equipment Fastens ferrite structures and tunnel parts with glue adhesive or high-temping Fabricates ferrite structures for housings according to drawings and diagrams, sands as needed Wires induction heating coils by hand according to drawings and diagrams Solders wires with solder pot or hand solder, depending on wire size, and solders lugs onto wire ends Coats components with epoxy to insulate in order to assure operator safety Obtains drawings and logs job activity into Epicor including job progress and quantity completed Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months experience in an assembly position or other related experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Knowledge and ability to use light hand tools, hand solder, and solder pot Ability to use a rolling ladder to obtain materials from storage shelves as needed Ability to work independently to complete tasks according to specifications
