Assembly Tech Shift:
1st, (6am-2:30pm)
Pay:
$19-$22.50/hr (Based on experience) A fast-growing aerospace cable manufacturing company in the Metro Milwaukee area is seeking a skilled and dependable Assembly Technician to join our 1st shift production team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior wire assembly experience who are looking to grow with an innovative and quality-driven organization.
Build and assemble cable assemblies and production kits according to specifications and quality standards
Perform material handling duties including inspection, pulling parts, cable cutting, label printing, and inventory organization
Terminate cables and perform detailed soldering tasks
Read and interpret cable prints and work instructions accurately
Maintain a clean and FOD-free (Foreign Object Debris) production environment
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and production equipment guidelines
Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams regarding planning and lead times
Monitor product shelf life and maintain awareness of counterfeit part prevention practices
Utilize measurement tools and understand various forms of measurement
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
3-5+ years of related production assembly experience preferred
Prior wire assembly background required
Detailed soldering experience preferred
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards strongly preferred
