50/hr Position is for an aerospace/defense client. United States citizenship is required. Previous aerospace/defense experience is strongly preferred.

WORK SHIFT

6am-4:30pm Description Aerospace/defense client is looking for an Assembler 2 to support their Assembly department. This position will serve on-site in Madison, AL 35756. Responsibilities Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Basic Qualifications for Assembler 2 Minimum of 2 years of related assembly experience.

• Experience with soldering (J-Standard certification preferred), surface mount (SMT) packages, or wire harness construction.
• Ability to work from complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and, or, work instructions.
• Experience working with microscopes for precision assembly. Preferred Qualifications for Assembler 2
• Experience assembling and troubleshooting Radio Frequency (RF) and/or Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) systems.
• Experience in rework and modifying dense SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards and prototype cables.
• Proficiency in using microscopes for assembling small mechanical parts.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) such as SAP, Solumina, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), FOD (Foreign Object Damage), and

ITAR/AS9100
