Plant Manager Posted on August 15, 2025 August 15, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead production operations, drive operational efficiency, and uphold the highest manufacturing standards in a high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will oversee the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring safety compliance, quality excellence, and timely delivery while fostering a productive and engaged workforce. Position Responsibilities Production Oversight Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production goals. Ensure all safety, quality, and productivity objectives are achieved. Team Leadership Lead, train, and motivate production teams for optimal performance. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Scheduling & Planning Develop and implement production schedules that align with delivery timelines. Balance resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Compliance & Quality Control Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Maintain and improve quality control processes to meet customer expectations. Equipment & Maintenance Monitor equipment performance and coordinate necessary maintenance activities. Recommend upgrades or process adjustments to optimize performance. Inventory Management Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished goods. Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Continuous Improvement Implement lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and review production reports. Provide recommendations for operational adjustments based on performance metrics. Prerequisites Minimum of 5 years' experience in plant or production management, preferably in mattress, furniture, or related industries. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. Proven track record in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Competence in managing budgets, schedules, and performance KPIs. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
