Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across all facets of the plant. The successful candidate will oversee production management, quality assurance, and team leadership to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable manufacturing processes. This role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation. The ideal applicant will possess extensive experience in manufacturing management systems, production planning, and cross-functional communication, with a strong emphasis on achieving operational excellence through data-driven decision making. Duties Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste. Manage production scheduling and planning utilizing ERP systems platforms to align manufacturing output with demand forecasts. Utilize production management systems and Excel data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and develop corrective actions. Drive process improvements through Six Sigma methodologies and lean management techniques to enhance productivity and product quality. Develop staffing plans, lead team leadership efforts, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies across all plant operations. Prepare reports on operational performance for executive review and support strategic decision-making. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing management or plant management roles within a fast-paced production environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster cross-functional collaboration. In-depth understanding of production scheduling, quality control standards, and operations management best practices. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field; advanced certifications such as Lean Six Sigma are preferred. Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams across functions. Pay:
