Job Description
## Standard Job Description Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Over sees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Selected individual will become part of the Production Control Support Services Management team in Palmdale. Individual will be responsible for leading a group of subordinate employees in the Replenishment Center Operations (RCO), Tool Services, Project Tooling and Carpenter Shop teams providing support to all manufacturing areas in Palmdale and local feeder sites. Individual must be a self-starter demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead and direct subordinates. Candidate must have a strong customer focus, and demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects/customers concurrently.

- Experience with Shop Floor Control, Production Control, Logistics or Inventory Management
- Working knowledge of SAP (MRP) & or equivalent ERP
- Experience with Tool Control/FOD control procedures
- Relevant Information Technology skills, such as data analytics and reporting ## Desired Skills
- Working knowledge in Shop Floor Manager (SFM) and kitting related to Production control disciplines
- Knowledge of CribMaster
- Strong team building skills and ability to foster customer intimacy
- Experience in managing cross functional relationships
- Knowledge of MMAS compliance
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to guide strategic activities
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
