Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our plastics manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that manufacturing processes align with quality standards and business objectives. Your leadership will foster a culture of efficiency, safety, and innovation, empowering teams to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence and optimize supply chain performance across the plant. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production activities, ensuring optimal workflow and adherence to production schedules using advanced manufacturing management systems and ERP platforms such as SAP and MRP. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality. Oversee supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless material flow and timely delivery. Utilize data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel for production data analysis, reporting, and decision-making to identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements. Manage plant operations by establishing KPIs, monitoring performance metrics, and driving initiatives that support operational excellence in plastics manufacturing. Foster cross-functional communication among teams including production, quality control, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain to promote collaboration and problem-solving. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies while maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
