Executive Leadership / Chief Executive Officer Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both the company's retail and manufacturing divisions. This role ensures operational excellence, drives efficiency, maintains compliance, improves profitability, and develops high-performing teams. The Operations Manager works cross-functionally with department leaders to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, inventory is accurately managed, retail stores operate at peak performance, and company goals are consistently achieved. ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership Oversee daily operations across manufacturing and retail locations. Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, quality, and profitability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to achieve company objectives. Standardize operating procedures across all departments. Identify operational risks and implement solutions proactively. Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Manufacturing Operations Oversee production scheduling and workflow to maximize efficiency. Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining quality standards. Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste and increase productivity. Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently. Coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate inventory levels. Retail Operations Supervise daily operations across all retail locations. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained. Monitor sales performance, labor costs, inventory, and profitability. Analyze sales trends and develop strategies to increase revenue. Ensure merchandising, product presentation, and store appearance meet company standards. Conduct regular store visits and operational audits. Financial Management Assist in preparing and managing operational budgets. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Analyze profit and loss statements (P&L) for retail and manufacturing operations. Improve operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards. Support forecasting, inventory planning, and financial reporting. Inventory & Supply Chain Oversee inventory management across manufacturing and retail locations. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts. Coordinate purchasing and vendor relationships. Maintain efficient inventory turnover while minimizing shortages and excess inventory. Improve supply chain processes to support business growth. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and employees. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure staffing levels support operational needs. Address employee performance issues in partnership with Human Resources. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain company policies and standard operating procedures. Promote workplace safety and enforce safety standards. Ensure operational compliance with industry-specific regulations. Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and audits. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Support new initiatives, product launches, and expansion efforts. Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives. Communicate operational performance and recommendations to executive leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of operations management experience overseeing retail, manufacturing, or multi-site operations. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L. Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational management software. Experience with ERP, inventory management, and reporting systems preferred.
