A Manufacturing Project Manager maintains relations between the manufacturing company and the clients to which it sells and distributes. They manage a variety of accounts and projects; they also assess new build plans, assess various procedures in the production process, and maintain an open line of communication with vendors and clients. The project manager works with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs. In addition, the project manager has responsibilities in the direct manufacturing facility. They ensure that safety guidelines are met and any potential risks are eliminated.

  • Manufacturing Digital Integration & Transformation Project Manager
  • A Snapshot of Your Day
  • You'll drive the digital transformation of our manufacturing processes by connecting and driving the implementation of two major strategic programs—S4E Unify (S4/HANA) and PLM360 (Teamcenter).
Your day moves between big‑picture process design and detailed requirement shaping, using your expertise in either S4/HANA or Teamcenter and manufacturing process experience to guide decisions.
You collaborate across organizational boundaries:
partnering with manufacturing teams in Gas Services Central globally, engaging with different factories and the GS Manufacturing Process Owner, and aligning closely with IT, external consultants, and solution partners. With a broad cross‑organizational view, you actively connect stakeholders, steer discussions and foster decisions across sites and product lines. You drive to shape and execute seamlessly integrated Manufacturing processes and therewith play a pivotal role in how Gas Services Central will work in the future.

  • + Create transparency, drive integration and alignment across our major digital transformation programs with a focus on manufacturing Identify gaps, overlaps, and dependencies across initiatives, and define pragmatic solutions together with business and IT partners + Drive simplification across product lines and locations by balancing local business needs with global End-to-End process requirements + Facilitate collaboration and decision‑making across organizational boundaries, including steering complex topics toward outcomes with the greatest business value + Contribute to coordinated rollout execution by planning activities, aligning stakeholders, and supporting structured delivery across multiple sites and waves + Communicate and share the targets and especially the implications of the strategic programs in the manufacturing communities advocating and driving the change •What You Bring•+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a comparable field + 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or business environments, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes + Proven experience in project or program management, especially in the area of digital business process transformation and global rollouts + Hands‑on experience with S4/HANA and/or PLM/Teamcenter implementations is a strong advantage + Strong collaboration, moderation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across functions and seniority levels.
