In this role, you will oversee daily plant activities, ensuring a safety-first environment while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets. You will manage staffing, schedules, and workflow; track KPIs; and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Partnering with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams, you'll resolve issues quickly and support process innovation. You will coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative culture focused on problem-solving and sustainable packaging solutions. Responsibilities Lead daily production operations in a flexible packaging manufacturing facility Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflow to meet safety, quality, and output targets Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements for efficiency and waste reduction Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues Train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and development Support implementation of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Communicate production status, issues, and improvement plans to leadership Required Skills Production management Lean manufacturing Process improvement Safety and OSHA compliance Quality control KPI tracking and reporting Team leadership and supervision Manufacturing scheduling Root cause analysis Continuous improvement (CI)
