Responsible for all daily functions of running the Production facility, this includes daily start up meetings, scheduling product runs for production lines, packette machines, and tube machine, as well as running the kitting department (when applicable or assigned). Responsible for day-to-day personnel directive and issues, as they arise, getting directive from Human Resources, Senior Production Manager and Director of Manufacturing, as needed. Additional duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager and/or Director of Manufacturing, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the development and implementation of the procedures and systems (SOP's) for Production. Recommend workflow enhancements. Mentors, trains new or promoted staff, and conducts necessary meetings, as needed. Coordinates with Human Resources and Senior Production Manager to resolve employee relation issues. Interviews new hire candidates as needed. Assign daily tasks to employees. Conducts daily start up meetings. Conducts new product runs. Assures policies and procedures are followed. Fills-in for laborers, machine operators, and line leads as needed. Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Check and verify line components, finished product, and production logs for Quality Assurance. Follow daily/nightly schedule and make adjustments if necessary. Provide building security outside of regular business hours. Conduct daily shift change communication with Production Manager and production employees. Perform special projects as assigned. Kitting/Production Supervisor and Production Supervisors cross train in each other's areas (when applicable or assigned), to back up in the absence of other Supervisors. Writes and administers direct report's annual reviews with the approval of Human Resources. Conduct daily shift change communication with Senior Production Manager and production employees, as needed. Reports any equipment issues to Maintenance in a timely manner. Communicate production totals for each shift to all Australian Gold Manufacturing managers and office staff. This position is responsible for following all documented and training of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), Work Instructions, and Policies designed to support the development, implementation, and control of the

ISO 22716

2007 standard.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will supervise all production/kitting employees assigned to them and support systems necessary to complete daily paperwork and production runs. This individual will also oversee the mixing and quality departments in absence of management.

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least three to five years related experience and/or training. Experience and training will include leadership, problem solving, effective communications, employee relations, team building, safety, etc.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and other basic math skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Strong problem solving experience with quick learning ability is desired. Experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
