Geiger Ready Mix Plant Manager - Olathe
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop plant team members while building a safe, positive, and high-performing culture. Coordinate the daily activities of the plant to ensure quality concrete is produced and delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently. Oversee plant reliability, preventive maintenance, inventory management, staffing, scheduling, and facility readiness. Partner with Sales, Dispatch, Quality Control, Customer Service, and Maintenance teams to support customers and achieve business objectives. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, DOT, and company standards. Anticipate challenges, allocate resources effectively, and continuously improve the performance of the operation. Required Qualifications Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop others while building trust and accountability. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proven success managing priorities and resources in a fast-paced operational environment. Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and departments. Commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement. 2+ years experience leading front-line teams in ready-mix industry or similar operational environment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with production processes, maintenance planning, inventory management, quality systems, and operational metrics.
