Job Description
Seasonal Plant Manager Cape Cod Select is a fourth-generation, women-owned cranberry company with a passion for quality, sustainability, and family. We take pride in everything we do—from the bog to the finished product—and are looking for a Seasonal Plant Manager to join our team during the cranberry harvest season. The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Seasonal Plant Manager for approximately 8 weeks during our fall cranberry harvest , beginning around September 10 and running through approximately November 10th . This position offers a flexible schedule with both day and night shift opportunities . Paid training will be provided to familiarize you with our plant operations, production processes, and equipment. Once trained, you will help oversee daily plant operations and ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and to our high standards for quality. What You'll Do Oversee day-to-day plant operations and production Lead and support employees in a safe, positive work environment Monitor production and ensure goals are met efficiently Promote a strong culture of safety and quality Help troubleshoot operational issues and keep production moving Work closely with the team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Work weekends and holidays as needed during harvest What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in plant, production, manufacturing, or industrial operations At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience Familiarity with machinery and plant operations Ability to remain calm, organized, and level-headed in a fast-paced environment Forklift experience preferred Ability to work in cold environments and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training can be provided) Ability to provide two professional references
