This role is ideal for a recent business graduate with an interest or aptitude in mechanical or manufacturing environments, or someone with experience in a manufacturing setting. The position offers broad exposure to day-to-day operations, including customer service, quoting, order processing, accounting support, and marketing coordination in our small team environment. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn the operational and technical aspects of a custom manufacturing business. This is a full time, in-person position Monday thru Friday at our Hanover, MA facility. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries by assisting in preparing quotes based on customer specifications, drawings, and internal pricing guidelines. Enter and track customer orders in the company's ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment tracking, statements, and vendor coordination Maintain and update records related to customers, orders, and financial transactions Support and execute ongoing marketing initiatives (email campaigns, print and online advertising, basic content management, etc.) Work closely with the General Manager on special projects and operational improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic understanding of mechanical concepts or willingness to learn (ability to interpret drawings is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus Self-starter with a willingness to take initiative and learn across multiple functions Preferred Traits Interest in manufacturing or industrial operations Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small business environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities What You'll Gain Direct exposure to all aspects of a custom manufacturing business Hands-on experience in quoting, operations, and financial processes Opportunity for growth into operations, sales, or management roles
Pay:
