Assistant Manufacturing Manager Our client in Woburn, MA is looking for an Assistant Manufacturing Manager. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong TIG welding knowledge who can effectively lead a production team, solve problems on the floor, maintain high quality standards, and help keep production running efficiently. Responsibilities of the Assistant Manufacturing Manager Assist with day-to-day manufacturing operations and production scheduling. Supervise and support welders, assemblers, fabricators, and production technicians. Assign work and monitor workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met. Provide technical guidance on

welding of stainless-steel tubing and piping . Monitor weld quality and troubleshoot welding or fabrication issues. Work with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality and proper documentation. Support root cause investigations and corrective actions. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of production employees. Promote a safe, organized, and team-oriented working environment. Identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, and material flow. Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications of the Assistant Manufacturing Manager Strong manufacturing and production leadership experience. Previous experience supervising manufacturing or production employees. Extensive knowledge of TIG welding stainless-steel tubing and piping. Experience with high-purity piping, pressure vessels, cryogenic systems, or vacuum-insulated applications is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and procedures, including ISO requirements, is a plus. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
