The Plant Manager is a leader in the manufacturing facility, responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure optimal performance across all departments. The role demands a skilled professional with extensive management experience. The Plant Manager will be accountable for meeting production goals, maintaining product quality, and ensuring workplace safety, all while leading a diverse team to achieve company objectives.
Plant Manager Responsibilities & Duties:
10+ years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management Proven track record of successful plant management in a high-volume manufacturing environment Work closely with upper management to set and achieve company-wide goals Strong understanding of State and local regulatory requirements for operating plants Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Exceptional leadership and team-building skills Ability to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness Experience managing large teams and diverse groups of employees Recruit, hire, and train plant staff Conduct performance reviews and manage staff development Excellent problem-solving skills Proficient in using ERP systems and production management software Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to make decisions under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ensure adherence to all standards, including health and safety Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
