Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the startup of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and performing production line processes, ensuring product quality, and leading a team of production workers in a fast-paced and hands-on factory environment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively utilize various tools and equipment. Responsibilities Supervise and start-up daily production activities on the line to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive work environment. Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and logistics, to streamline operations. Implement best practices for painting processes while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance outcomes. Skills Knowledge of Powder Coating or fabrication is a plus Ability to regularly team lift 55lbs Experience in assembly line operations within a factory or warehouse setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of production. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
