Pilgrim Facility Services is a 3rd generation, locally owned and operated commercial laundry and rental services company, providing businesses with professionally cleaned linens, uniforms, towels, mats, and other essential facility supplies. Pilgrim Facility Services is seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead our production and service operations at our Minneapolis facility. This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing our laundry and production team, coordinating route service personnel, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and enjoys leading by example in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Sort dirty laundry such as napkins, towels, etc. by type & color Prep dirty items for washing Operate commercial washers and dryers Fold & package clean laundry Supervise and lead the production and laundry staff to ensure efficient daily operations. Monitor product quality and maintain high standards for cleanliness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Schedule, train, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance and productivity. Coordinate inventory levels, incoming deliveries, and outgoing products. Work closely with route drivers to ensure timely and accurate customer service. Serve as a backup route driver when needed and assist with deliveries during peak periods or employee absences. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with ownership and other departments to support company goals and operational excellence. Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, laundry, logistics, or a similar environment preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds. Experience in commercial laundry or textile rental is a plus, but not required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required. Compensation $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience.
