Job Openings Director of iHub Educational Services
  • Norfolk, Nebraska Northeast Community College is seeking a full-time Director of iHUB.
Northeast Community College is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to serve as the Director of the Innovation Hub (iHUB). This position is responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, sustainability, and growth of the iHUB, a collaborative center focused on innovation, automation, robotics, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. The Director will cultivate partnerships with employers, educational institutions, community organizations, and economic development entities to expand access to innovative learning opportunities and support regional workforce needs. The successful candidate will collaborate across internal and external oversee grant-funded initiatives, develop sustainable revenue streams, manage staff and resources, and ensure the iHub remains responsive to emerging industry trends and workforce demands.
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent education/training in engineering, manufacturing, automation or related field required.
Experience:
Industry experience required. Previous leadership and supervisory experience preferred. Additional experience may substitute for required education. Thorough knowledge of safety protocols as it relates to a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills:
This job title requires comprehensive, practical knowledge of a technical field with use of analytical judgement and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization. This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package including:
