Job Summary As we continue expanding across the United States, we're seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations at our new Reno, Nevada manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing a strong team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations. Supervise, coach, and develop production employees and shift leaders. Plan daily production schedules to meet customer deadlines. Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery metrics. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Conduct daily production meetings and safety discussions. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Coordinate with Engineering, Shipping, Purchasing, and Leadership to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee inventory accuracy, material flow, and production readiness. Manage employee performance, attendance, coaching, and corrective actions. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new production employees. Ensure equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping standards are maintained. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. Experience managing teams of 15+ employees preferred. Strong understanding of production scheduling and workflow management. Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and production software. Forklift experience. Experience in steel manufacturing, framing, roll forming, or construction-related manufacturing is preferred. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Leads by example.
