Job Description

J-Lenco is a manufacturer of riser sleeves and cores for the foundry industry. Our products are designed to optimize castings for the rail, mining, infrastructure, defense, and automotive industries. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and effectively communicating with others. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, including production scheduling, maintenance, safety, and overall plant operations. Ensure quality standards are maintained. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor KPI's, productivity, and machine utilization. Manage staffing, training, and employee performance. Support quoting, cost control, and overall plant profitability. Plant Manager Qualifications / Skills Experience managing manufacturing operations. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills, verbal, written, and electronic. Working knowledge of manufacturing quality processes. Maintenance or mechanical experience to identify issues or basic troubleshooting. Safety/OSHA/Industrial Hygiene experience or knowledge. Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Prior experience in a production management role Experience in maintenance or engineering a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Job Type Full time Hours 5:30am to 4:15pm Monday through Thursday (Normal Production) Variable time on Friday for planning, maintenance and repairs Pay and Benefits Pay commensurate with experience Paid Vacation and Holidays 401k with
