664 N. High Street, LaRue, OH 43332 J-Lenco is a manufacturer of products for the foundry industry. We produce products that help foundries in the casting of quality components for multiple industries including automotive, rail, defense, consumer goods, and more. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for testing materials, documenting results, and ensuring products meet quality standards before, during, and after production. Responsibilities Perform inspections and testing of materials before, during, and after production. Record and maintain quality documentation and test results.
Conduct quality testing including:
Density testing, sinker percentage testing, length of ignition testing, moisture testing, aluminum testing, microsphere testing, sand testing, and additional testing as required. Verify product specifications. Communicate quality concerns and findings. Assist with investigations of quality-related issues. Support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Equipment & Tools Used Micrometers Measuring cups Crucibles Precision scales and balances Measuring instruments Lab testing equipment Microsoft Office applications Preferred Experience Previous quality control or quality inspection experience. Familiarity with basic quality control procedures and documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Material testing and analysis experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous quality experience. Job Type Full-Time; Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Occasional Friday work (up to 4 hours) as needed; No nights; No weekends (except occasional Friday overtime as needed) Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $17.50 per hour Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(k) with
