This role requires hands-on mechanical work, daily equipment monitoring, data documentation, and interaction with incoming material delivery drivers. Essential Responsibilities Monitor our methane burning generator, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment to ensure safe and proper operation. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and work orders daily. Adjust setting and parameters as necessary and escalate problems to the Operations manager. Interact regularly and professionally with delivery truck drivers. Document instrument readings, test results, and materials entering and leaving the facility. Adjust machine controls to regulate temperature, motor speeds, and process conditions. Clean and inspect machines for hazards, malfunctions, leaks, wear, and operational issues. Prepare daily data sheets, generate reports, and input information into spreadsheets. Maintain buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, including snow removal or lawn care as needed.
