This pivotal role involves overseeing production processes, managing a skilled team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and safety. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing activities, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices in lean manufacturing and process improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about manufacturing excellence and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations of the CNC machine shop, ensuring production schedules are met with precision and efficiency. Develop and implement production management systems, including SAP, ERP, and MRP software, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean management principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques. Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demands while minimizing waste and downtime. Monitor quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to optimize manufacturing processes. Analyze data using Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within the plant environment. Qualifications Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in CNC machining or metal fabrication. Strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems such asSAP, ERP
systems, MRP software, and production scheduling tools. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma certification is a plus. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote cross-functional communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis for operational insights and decision-making. Familiarity with quality control processes and supply chain management principles. Ability to implement process improvements through lean management strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
