Job Description

At DeZURIK, we're l ooking for a Materials Manager who thrives on balancing strategy with execution, enjoys leading teams, and is energized by solving complex supply chain challenges. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support customer commitments, production goals, and business growth. As Materials Manager, you'll lead the planning and purchasing teams while overseeing inventory management, purchasing operations, supplier performance, and materials processes. You'll partner closely with Operations, Sales, Scheduling, Engineering, Finance, and IT to align supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve on-time delivery performance. You'll also play a key role in strengthening ERP utilization, enhancing reporting and analytics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys using data to make decisions, improving processes, and developing people. You'll provide direction and training on MRP, inventory control, ERP systems, and planning processes while helping reduce excess and obsolete inventory, improve supplier performance, and support new product introductions and production transitions. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with MRP systems, inventory planning, purchasing, and team leadership is essential. APICS certification, manufacturing experience, and knowledge of Bills of Material and production processes are highly valued. Sponsorship is not available for this role. DeZURIK offers a competitive base salary in the $98,221 to $122,776 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
