Ready to Leave Restaurant Nights & Weekends Behind? Alfresco Pasta is looking for an experienced Chef / Kitchen Production Manager to lead our production kitchen and grow with our company. This isn't a traditional chef position. You'll combine your culinary experience with leadership— developing products, scaling recipes, leading a team, and helping improve how we produce great food. You'll work directly with our Plant Director and ownership, and your ideas will matter. What You'll Do Lead and develop our kitchen production team Manage daily food production and production schedules Scale chef-created recipes for large-volume manufacturing Maintain product quality, consistency, yields, and food safety Develop and test new products and recipes Help improve processes, equipment, efficiency, and reduce waste Train employees on cooking procedures, equipment, sanitation, and safety Ensure HACCP, GMP, allergen, sanitation, and company standards are followed What We're Looking For 2+ years of high-volume culinary or food production experience , plus previous leadership experience.
Experience can come from:
Food Manufacturing Restaurants Hotels Catering Commissary Kitchens Institutional Food Service High-Volume Commercial Kitchens Food manufacturing experience, HACCP, ServSafe, SQF experience, recipe scale-up, and R&D experience are preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right culinary leader on the manufacturing side of the business.
