Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and foster a collaborative team environment to achieve operational excellence. Duties Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities, including production scheduling, assembly, and supply chain management, to meet output targets and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Hire, train and develop a team through coaching and mentoring. Set performance parameters, assess, and monitor performance of team, and conduct performance reviews. Manage cross-functional communication between departments such as quality control, maintenance, engineering, and logistics to support seamless plant operations. Manage departmental operating costs such as consumables and labor utilization to meet budget targets. Identify opportunities for improvement. Delegate work to appropriate team members by providing accurate, complete, and timely instructions with defined expectations for work completion. Utilize Excel data analysis for performance metrics tracking, reporting on key operational indicators, and identifying areas for process improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures across the plant. Lead team development efforts by providing mentorship in manufacturing management practices and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Qualifications Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of plant management principles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting purposes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, facilitate cross-functional communication, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments is required.
